使命宣言

皇冠新现金网社会学的使命是运用科学和批判性思维来研究社会系统的动态及其对人类和环境的影响.

项目描述

社会学课程培养关于人类创造的社会如何影响我们自己和自然世界的知识和批判性分析. Students examine the social, 人类建立的政治和经济制度,以及我们生活的更大的生态系统. Courses examine topics that include the dynamics of power and inequality; gender ethnicity and resources; the growing influence of technology and mass media and need for environmental sustainability. 社会学 is devoted to inspiring students to understand, appreciate and care for the world in which they live through creative, 与公民身份.

FTES in SOC remained consistant until the last two years, 2020年和2021年, when there was a 22 percent decrease in FTES. This reduction is consistent with the decrease in enrollment for the college.

The list of areas where employment can be found range from social and community service, 修正, 业务, 大学设置, health services public relations, and government services.

The types of employment range from community development agencies and environmental groups, 社会服务, and non-profit organizations.  These organizations work with juveniles, 上了年纪的, 修正, marketing and consumer research, 人力资源.
