The Butte College Glenn Center serves a diverse population from the Glenn County area. A concentrated effort continues to be made to expand course offerings, 提高入学率, and increase student 服务 to better serve the students of the area. Glenn County participate in the annual unit plan process which is the Administrative 项目评审.
A focused is being placed on providing a more intentional schedule for students to meet their educational goals in a more timely manner and a plan is being developed to offer more certificates in key areas.
Planning for a new building in Glenn center which will increase FTES and offer expanded 服务 to students.
Strategy 1 - Develop an intentional schedule
Provide a more efficient schedule in terms of days and times classes are offered in order for students to meet their GE requirements. Collaborating with departments to offer courses that can be applied to a certificate in key areas.

Planning is taking place to have a new building operating in Glenn County by Fall 2022. This new facility will hopefully meet goals of strategy 1.
The Board has an intiative of Butte College having a greater presence in Glenn County.

The Manager range was a guess years ago when it moved from classified to manager status. In addition the responsibilities have increased and will continue to with building of the new site. So, a desk audit should be done and we believe will justify an increase in pay and range.

CSO needed to provide security either pt or ft for glenn campus to ensure timeliness of safety issues.
There is currently no campus security on site for the 海湾合作委员会 campus. This poses a safety issue as there is also only one ft staff member on site. the new site will create more traffic and potentially more issues so the need for this position will increase.
Planning is taking place to prepare for adequate staffing to cover needs of the new center for fall 2022. Currently the thought is to move the Deans Admin Assistant to this location but if this does not happen there will be a need for a Clerk to support student 服务.
